What’s Brewing this Month
New Brews at Endeavour Tap Rooms this February
With three regularly rotating taps, there’s always something new and exciting brewing!
The Endeavour guys have been working hard on some new recipes that we are excited to introduce this month. Being the final month of Summer, expect fruity flavours, tropical aromas & easy drinking quenchers.
Our bar has been designed to showcase 5 key lines and 3 rotating taps. The rotating taps are based around the following three categories:
‘Something Dark’– This tap always showcases something new with a fresh recipe every time.
‘Something with Friends’– The Independent Brewing Industry is taking over and we are always showcasing brews from some of our most valued friends in the Australian beer scene.
‘Something with Staff’– We couldn’t host you without our wonderful crew. This brew is an expression of what inspires them from the greater beer world.
Check out the new brews below!
Red Flannel IPA
Falling into the ‘Something Dark’ category is this Red IPA. It is hoppy, bitter and moderately strong like an American IPA, but with caramel, toffee & dark fruit malt character. Retaining the dryish finish and lean body that makes IPAs so drinkable, a Red IPA is a little more flavourful and malty than an American IPA without being sweet or heavy. The aroma is woody with a pine character that dominates. The Red Flannel IPA is medium bodied and has a strong resinous flavour that really coats the tongue. It has a strong hop flavour but is well balance with a light toffee flavour from the malt.

Raspberry Tartlet Sour
The current ‘Something with Friends’ beer is a fruited sour with raspberries, vanilla and lactose. This combination mimics a raspberry custard tart but with a sour finish. A fruited sour is a basic ale that has been sourced using many techniques to provide a high level of acidic flavour that is perceived as sour. The aroma hints of fresh raspberry and also vanilla. The upfront flavour is a tart fruit flavour with a zingy character due to the heightened carbonation process. As it moved to the back of your throat, the vanilla and lactose come into play to give that custardy type of character and coats the mouth slightly. The finish is clean and dry, allowing for the next sip. An easy drinking quencher perfect for hot afternoons!
Pair with our Oysters, Kangaroo Sausage, Apple Cabbage Slaw or Smoked Salmon Salad. View the menu
‘Something with Staff’ is a Juicy/Hazy IPA, sometimes called a NEIPA. This is a variant of the classic IPA. What sets NEIPAS apart is the high volume of hops but low bitterness. This beer is cloudy yellow/orange in appearance which is hazy from the yeast and dry hopping amounts used. The fluffy, meringue like head due to the use of oat. It has been carbonated on the normal IPA side to help emphasise the bright fruit flavours but still allow the oats to provide a full mouth feel. There is an intense tropical juice aroma with hints of passionfruit, mango, rockmelon and citrus. The beer is medium bodied with an upfront fruity/citrus character that finished reasonably dry.
